I dislike it and would rather prefer the old system. I just want to know how to join and leave (which I figured out) I'll learn the rest only is I have to.

I'm not really fazed by it. I figure, since we can still get on the old chat, it doesn't really matter about the new clan.

That is a bonus, but what annoys me is now there are two clan chats. The actual clan where everyone is invited, and just the normal one? Yeah anyway according to TRIMMER there is still a lot to do and clean up. Before we start focusing on anything else.

SOLUTION
~or rather, a realization that solves the "annoying" part of it

The clan chat system we know it is unchanged in all respects (except that it's called friend chat now). You can still come and go as you please, toggle lootshare through a button on the bottom-right of the chat interface, set it up just like before, and still hold clan wars through it.

Everything's there just like before. What's changed is that there's a new tab with a more firm type of clan interface. More people can administrate it, we can each only be loyal to one clan at once, we have clan colors, etc. It might seem like you HAVE to deal with this to keep functioning the same way as we did before and still be in a clan, but that is NOT the case.

Take a look at the buttons on the bottom chat panel.

"Public" - self-explanatory
"Private" - private chat
"Friends" - OUR CLOSE-KNIT COMMUNITY. This is where the original Chatforce resides, and this is the old system we always used to run on.
"Clan" - THE NEW SYSTEM. If you don't wanna see it, just right-click its button and set it to "Off" or "Friends." You can be in the clan without having to deal with the new clan chat. It's your choice if you just wanna be a member of clan official and otherwise ignore it altogether. These hordes of new guys are our reserve members and a pretty good way to attract some high-quality members like the ones in the original Chatforce. Honestly, the clan still isn't complete.

I agree with most people on here, and I dunno, I understand getting new members is good and everything, but wasn't that kind of the downfall of Central? I'm not saying we're like them, not at all, just like... Weird....

The old clan system is still completely intact and unchanged. It's just called the "friends chat" now and has a "friends" button on the lower chat panel (not to be confused with the "private" button for pms). Ignore the new system by right-clicking the "clan" button under the chatbox and selecting "off" or "friends."
